01. CHALLENGE
The current process of maintaining road assets in India is time-consuming and error- prone as it relies heavily on manual labor.
Considering the time and energy spent on this process, their results are inaccurate and often incomplete. Sometimes, assets are overlooked or not identified correctly. Additionally, there are too many illegal shops and structural encroachments along the roads. Many locations do not even have streetlights, which is extremely dangerous to the lives of citizens where criminal activities would be prevalent. Excess mud and water stagnation on the roads are hazardous to the bikers, leading to skids. Potholes and cracks are also common. These issues can lead to loss of lives and properties.
02. Solution
L&T manages a considerable area of Indian highways and they wanted a resolution to these common problems. They approached SeekRight® for a solution that can give daily updates on the status of the highway assets so that they can carry out timely maintenance activities.
SeekRight’s innovative solution, using computer vision, tracked more than 75 assets on the Indian roads for L&T. The immediate results gave a lot of insights and helped our client make prompt decisions for enhancing the process of asset maintenance and management and avoiding penalties.
Furthermore, SeekRight® has a solution for chainage mapping and asset tagging which helps L&T identify the specific location of each asset along the lengthy highways.

01. Challenge
Like any developing nation, the Government of Kazakhstan wanted to pay attention to the country's road infrastructure. Issues such as snow accumulation and snow spillage on the roads were the key concerns they wanted to address.
Maintenance of road assets is a big challenge in Kazakhstan as extreme weather conditions resist smooth maintenance and lead to heavy damage to the assets. Considering the time and energy spent on asset inspection, the process was time- consuming, and the results were inaccurate.
02. Solution
With the help of SeekRight’s computer vision-based AI solution for road asset maintenance and management, the process of snow clearance from the roads of Kazakhstan was made more efficient. SeekRight® helped the authorities to automate the monitoring of road conditions. Also, the maintenance of the contracting arrangements became simpler.
Additionally, we were able to map all road assets of Astana City using our master data creation module, which allowed them to track the condition of their road assets.
